OH!! Today is Vawentines Day! Today is the day where we get to share yummy tweats wif those we wove!! And we can give out Vawentines cards!! How fun!! The Teddy got a card this year! Wook!!

The Teddy woves to get cards fwom her fwiends!! I got a bunch if Chwistmas ones! But unfortunatewy I never got to get picshures of them. But it was still wonderful to get them!!!

OH!! Its been a while since the Teddy had a bwog post! This is the newest member of our hug! His name is Sherwood! Hes weawwy nice! Hes kinda yike the gwandpa of evwyone here!!

Sherwood: Hello, everyone. It’s absolutely splendid to meet you! I am very glad to be a member of Teddy’s hug. Everyone here is so nice and has been extremely welcoming to this old bear.

Teddy: Its been super wonderful to have you here wif us all Sherwood! Yike I said, your yike a gwandpa for us all!

Sherwood: A role I’m happy to take on. When you get to be an old bear like me, you can’t always handle too many adventures and whatnot. So being able to help take care of young ones is a very pleasant experience. Though, I do hope to go on and adventure or two while I’m here!

Teddy: We do tend to have wots of fun adventures! Well maybe not too many wif this whole pandemic going on. But once its done thare will be more adventures.

Sherwood: That’s quite alright, little one. There are plenty of fun things for us to do at home! We can play fun games or do puzzles! Or we can simply read a book!

The Teddy hopes fwiends are doing well. Espeshuwy wif the world still being so vewy cwazy. Were still on a night schedule here so the Teddy hasnt been able to see fwiends as much as shed yike to. I miss you all!

The Teddy wants you to know that jus because I cant be onwine as much, Im still here for my fwiends! Thares so much cwaziness going on evwywhere and the world is a pwetty scawy pwace at the moment. So its important to be thare for each other.

The Teddy is hoping that the world gets back to normal soon. The Teddy wowwies about evwyone wif all tha’s going on. Mommy and daddy are still on thare night shifts at work so they wuckiwy dont have to deal wif any of the cwazy people that theyve heard about being at the store.

The Teddy knows were starting to open up more here in the US and that more pwaces are going ‘gween’ but that doesnt mean thare wont be a second wave of this viwus. So pwease be careful when out in pubwic.

to be scawed. Many fwiends have talked about being scwawed wecentwy. And it’s vewy understandable. With all tha’s going on in the world wight now, its onwy fair to be scawed. The Teddy is afwaid. And its compwetewy normal for us to be afwaid.

But while this may be the case, we dont need to let the fear wule our lives. We have to stay stwong for one another. Thare are so many people who are panicking and going out and buying up things yike cwazy. Weve all seen it on tv and the internet or heard it fwom others. Its vewy wowwying to many of us.

But instead of panicking ourselves, lets give support to each other. If we know one of our fwiends is weawwy scared, give them extwa hugs and send them some wove. We need to be the support for each other. Espeshuwy as things pwogwess. This thing going awound is nothing for us to take wightly. But we can all face it together.

So lets all be here for one another. The Teddy woves you all and will do her best to be here for you should need a fwiend to talk to or jus a distwaction fwom the cwaziness! *big hugs*Thinking Teddy

OH! Its been a while since the Teddys made a bwog post!! This time its to intwoduce my new sister Waja!

Now some of you have alweady met Waja but if you havent yet, shes vewy speshul!! We adopted her fwom Toddys Hug! It means so much to us to have a teddy fwom such a speshul home. Waja has some things to say!

Raja: Hello, everyone! It’s a pleasure to meet you all! I want to start by saying thank you so very much to Teddy and her hug for taking me in when I needed a home. I came from a wonderful home with Dr. Kevin and Toddy. And though I do miss them terribly, as well as the rest of the hug, I’m forever grateful to be part of Teddy’s family! We’ve already had a lot of fun together! Look!

Raja: This is when I first met Teddy and some of the hug. It was a bit scary, but also a lot of fun to meet everyone. They’ve been so nice to me since I arrived. We’ve had a lot of fun together!!

Raja: I’ve gone to the movies, played video games, and gone on car rides! We even went to a Halloween parade on got lots of yummy candy!! We’ve also had lots of yummy food!

Rajs: So, all in all, I’ve had a wonderful time getting to know my new hug. I hope that all of my hugmates from #ToddysHug are getting on as well as I am. And, as Teddy has told me, now many of our friends have a little piece of Toddy with them.

Raja: I would ask everyone to please carry on Toddy’s spirit by being kind to everyone. #BeMoreToddy #BeKind

OH!! Thank you Waja for shawing wif us! So you see, even in the toughest of times you can find some wight. Many of us are still feewing the woss of Dr. Kevin and Toddy. And its something that were gonna feel for a wong time. But knowing that a little bit of Toddy is wif so many fwiends is a vewy comforting thought. I yike to think that bof Toddy and Dr. Kevin are watching us all wif big smiles on thare faces. Lets make them pwoud and #BeMoreToddy and #BeKind. Jus yike Waja said!

Wemembering Toddy. Wemembering a fwiend.

It is wif a vewy heavy heart that the Teddy makes this post. This isnt the next bwog post I hoped to bwing you all. But today we wearned that a dear fwiend to many of us has passed away. Our fwiend Toddy Fuwwington (or wather his valet, Kevin)

The Teddy didnt know Toddy as wong as many of her fwiends did. But he was one of the first fwiends that I made on twitter. And what a fwiend he was! Always so vewy kind and fwiendwy to evwyone, Toddy accepted all newcomers with open arms. He always tweated evwyone wif such wespect and decency. A twuer gentlebear you could not find.

The Teddy wemembers how Toddy would always be wight thare at the #FurryTails bar to offer evwyone a dwink or something to eat! It was always so gweat to go and chat wif him or any other fwiends who were thare. Its gonna take a wot of getting used to not having him thare now.

I also wemember Toddy inviting me to join #TheAviators! Such a gweat expewience!! The Teddy wemembers when she first got her wicense! I was so pwoud when Toddy gave it to me!!

My bwother Sigh wemembers Toddy well too. He would yike to say something now.

Sigh: Im v-v-vewy sad to hear the n-news about M-mi-mister Toddy. He w-was so nice to m-m-me always!

Sigh: I wememb-ber when I first th-thought of opening m-my shop on twitter. I w-wa-was weawwy nervous at f-f-first but M-mister Toddy encouw-waged me to do it. And Im so g-gwad I did!

Sigh: I d-dont get to open as often a-as I would wi-wike too, but evwy t-time I did open Mister Toddy would always stop by for s-s-some of his favwite sweets! He w-woved his m-m-mint humbugs!! Ill m-miss him stopping by whene-ever I open #SighsShop.

We all have our own memowies of Toddy. The Teddy never got to meet his vawet Kevin but I can onwy imagine what a wonderful person he was. Im so gwad that some of my fwiends got to meet him. And though the Teddy never got to, Im so so vewy gwad to have met Toddy. Ill never forget the kindness that he bwought to me and to evwyone.

Fathers Day

So today is Fathers Day and the Teddy decided to make a special post. As we all know on Fathers Day we cewebwate our daddys. And the Teddy was able to spend the day wif her daddy today. And daddy weminded me of something.

Unfortunatewy not evwyone has thare daddy to spend Fathers Day wif. But that doesnt mean we cant cewebwate them. We can do that simpwy by wemembewing them. So the Teddy would yike to wemember two daddys in particuwar.

This is my mommys daddy.

He went to Heaven a few years ago. And so the Teddy never got to meet him. But mommy and daddy have told me a wot about him. Mommys daddy was a vetewan of the Vietnam War. He would always tell evwyone the cwaziest stowies about when he was in the war and jus his cwazy life in genewal. And what was cwazy was that no matter how many times you might hear any given song it never got old. It was always so intwesting to wisten to his stowies.

Mommys daddy was the type of person that you may think was a wittle wild or cwazy jus by seeing him. He had tattoos and eawwings and jus wooke a wittle wild! But once you got to know him you wealized that he was jus a fwiendly old man. Tehehehee! He was a vewy helpful person and always had advice for you no matter the pwobwem! Once you met him you would be guawanteed that you wouldnt forget him. This is a song that daddy showed mommy once because it made him think of her daddy.

And this is my daddys Papa. By Papa the Teddy means his gwandpa.

Daddys Papa

He went to Heaven about thwee years ago. Daddy has told the Teddy a wot about him.

Daddy has said that if he had to use one word to define a good man that word would be Papa. Daddy says that Papa was, much yike mommys daddy, the type of person who would go out of his way to help anyone. He was a vewy funny man who wasnt afwaid to joke about anything if it meant he could bwighten someones mood. Full of things to teach, Papa was always willing to let you make mistakes so he could help you learn fwom them.

Daddy says Papa was a vewy handy man who would twy to fix anything himself. Even if he didnt know how to do it! He would twy and he would usuwy succeed!!! He was the type of person who could bwing others together even if they didnt weawwy care for one another. For Papa others would overlook thare gwievances wif one another.

These are two daddys who may not be wif us anymore but are certainwy not forgotten. The Teddy may have never gotten to meet them but Ive wearned so much about them fwom mommy and daddy that I feel yike I knew them jus as well as mommy and daddy did. Thare bof missed so vewy much and bof mommy and daddy get sad and cwy sometimes when they think of them. And tha’s ok. Its ok to miss those you wove. And its ok to cwy about them. As wong as we wemember that its our job to keep thare memowies awive then its all ok.

So the Teddy would yike to give a wittle bit of wove and wemembwance to all the daddys who arent able to be wif thare famiwys.HAPPY FATHERS DAY!!

Fwiends.

Oh. Hewwo there. The Teddy has a question for you. The Teddy would yike to know what fwiends mean to you. To me, fwiends are those who you can always count on to make you smile. Or to make you giggle. Fwiends are there to pick you up when your feewing down. Or maybe a fwiend is jus thare to wisten when you need it.

Fwiends come in all shapes and sizes. They can be as big as an ewefant. Or they can be as small as a cwicket. But no matter the shape and size, a fwiend is a fwiend.

Sometimes our fwiends wive far away fwom us. But tha’s ok. Fwiends wove one another, and the cwazy thing about wove is that it doesn’t care about distance. Wove is a magical thing that can reach anybody, anywhere. You jus have to let it. And fwiends are weawwy good at sending thare wove to each other. The Teddy bewieves that wove is the stwongest force in the universe. And its something that the whole world could use more of.

But sometimes you may have a day where it feels yike you dont have any fwiends. You may feel awone and sad. In times yike these, you weawwy jus have to twust that thare is someone out there who is thinking of you. Someone who woves you. Because thare is ALWAYS someone. Even if you dont know it, its twue. The Teddy cannot bewieve otherwise. So if you are ever having a bad day, jus wemember that somebody cares. Maybe somebody you dont even know yet. But there is always somebody.

The Teddy has made so many vewy nice fwiends thwough twitter, and she is vewy gwad to have done so. The Teddy holds her fwiends so cwose to her heart and woves all them so much! Now, the Teddy knows she is wittle, and that means her heart is too. But the funny thing about hearts is that they can hold an infinite amount of wove. Hearts and wove go together yike the Teddy and potatoes! Teehee!

Sometimes the Teddy feels weawwy sad when a fwiend is upset and she cant help them. The Teddy onwy wants to make evwyone happy and smile and waugh. So when I cant do that, it hurts. And makes me sad. I dont yike being a sad teddy ball.

So pwease, if your ever having a bad day or even jus a bad moment, talk to the Teddy. Or if you dont want to talk to me, pwease talk to someone. I pwomise that thare is always somebody who woves you and will wisten to you and do thare best to make you feel better. If nothing else, you may get some hugs out of it. Hugs can help, even if onwy a wittle.

I’m the Teddy! I just wanted to say I wove you all so much! Evwyone Ive met onwine is super nice to the Teddy and I weawwy apwesheate it! I weawwy w-wove my bw-bwothers and my…and…and my sis-si-sisters. I used to be m-much shyer than I am now. I weawwy w-wike to pw-pway games wif evwybody. Usuwy one of th-them has to h-h-help me, but we still have wots of…wots…wots of fun.
