Featured Teddy sibwing: Fin Bear

Oh, hi! My name is Fin Bear. I am a very adventurous bear! I was actually just a adopted today! A few hours ago, as a matter or fact. I had to wait to get my piccy taken because I was quite dirty and was told I needed a bath. But now I’m all clean and ready for a new adventure!

I enjoy all kinds of adventures! Whether it be getting engrossed in a book, watching a cool t.v. series, or playing video games with someone, this bear just loves adventure! I noticed that my new daddy has some building toys called Bionicles; I may have to see if he’ll let me build stuff with him! I think all bears should have adventures!

My new sister, Teddy was so kind to let me post this on her personal blog. I think she’s a very nice bear. She tells me that she’s met a lot of nice bears and humans (teddies and humens, as she calls them, respectively) via her blog and her twitter account. This makes me very happy. I love to make new friends and having adventures with them! I’m told that my new big brother, Teddy (woo, it sure gets confusing having so many siblings named Teddy, teehehe!), likes to write stories and plans to become a famous author bear one day;  he hopes to release a compilation book of his stories when he can. Maybe he can write me and any new friends I make into a story. I think that could be quite fun!

Well, I do think that’s enough about me. Please, I would like to get to know you all better, so if you wouldn’t mind leaving a comment telling me about yourself, I would certainly appreciate it! I certainly hope you’ve enjoyed meeting me. Until next time, have a great day (or afternoon or evening, depending on where you live)! Thank you so much for coming to meet me!

Teddy 48

Kitties.

Oh hi! I’m the Teddy! I’m gonna tell you a wittle about my yife at home.

My mommy and daddy have two cats. Thare names are Devon and Scottie. Devon is a girl and Scottie is a boy. I weawwy yike them, but they don’t yike me or my bwothers or sisters. One time, my sister Fwoppy Teddy was walking by thare kitty tower and Devon weached out and stuck her cwaw in Fwoppy Teddys face! And one time she attacked Sigh yike a wild animal!

It’s not easy wiving wif cats when your a teddy. You twy to be nice to them but then they just act like meanie heads! Scottie wuns away whenever one of us goes near him. Even if we’re weawwy cwiet. So what the Teddy yikes to do is hide on daddys back and then when he goes to pet the Scottie, I pounce! I start petting him and make him purr! Whenever he notices that the Teddy is petting him, he runs away as fast as he can!

Sometimes we can pet Devon if we’re careful. But we have to sneak up on her to do it. The Teddy has gotten pwetty good at it, but sometimes she still gets me. Maybe the Teddy should jus wear a suit of armor.

If any of you have twoublesome pets, how do you handle them? Any tips for the Teddy? Let me know in the comments bewow. Thank you for wetting em wamble on about mommy and daddys kitties. Teeheehee! Bye bye! The Teddy woves you all! *hugs*

Dance of the Fairy Teddies

Teddy 38

Oh, hello, everyone. Welcome to another bedtime story with me, Teddy. Tonight’s story is a fairy tale! I hope you enjoy it! I’m quite excited to write my first fairy tale so let me get right to it. Our story takes place in a beautiful place. That place, is the mind of a little teddy. A teddy who longs for adventures. To see new places. To make new friends.

Now, let us delve into that beautiful mind. Let us witness, The Dance of the Fairy Teddies.

The Dance of the Fairy Teddies

The little teddy had just gone to bed. She’d had a fun day hanging out with her siblings and Zombie Jem and was quite exhausted. As soon as she got into bed, she fell asleep quickly. And shortly after, she went off to the dream world.

The little teddy opened her eyes. She didn’t recognize where she had awoken. She was laying under a tree in what seemed to be a large forest. The little teddy stood up and looked around. “Ooh,” she gasped, “this pwace is weawwy pwetty!” She began to explore the forest, before realizing that regardless of how pretty the place was, she didn’t know where she was.

“Oh hi, PammyBear!” The little teddy turned to see Zombie Jem standing behind her. “Oh hi!” she said excitedly, running to hug her friend. After a long embrace, she asked, “Do you know where we are?” Zombie Jem shook his head. “No,”he answered, “I have no idea.”  The two began walking around the forest, enjoying all the nature around them.

After a while, they came upon what seemed to be the way out of the forest. But blocking the way was a hooded figure. As they got closer to figure, they way that he was holding a large walking stick. “Hmm…” Zombie Jem mused, “I wonder who this could be.” When they reached the figure, he took off his hood, revealing himself to be a bear. “Hello there, travelers,” the bear said loudly, “I have been waiting for you!” The little teddy and Zombie Jem exchanged quick glances. “What do you mean?” Jem asked the bear.

The bear explained to them that it was his job to lead new travelers in the forest to their destinations, even if they were unaware of having one in the first place. The forest was a place that couldn’t be found on a map. Nobody quite knew how to find the forest, but somehow there were always new travelers. “And I, Teddy Tedaloo, am here to lead them all on their way!” The bear finished his speech with a bow. “Oh, so where are we going, Mr. Cwazy bear?” the Teddy asked, giggling. “That’s Teddy Tedaloo,” the bear said sternly, “and I insist you call me that exactly!” And with that, the walked past the little teddy and Zombie Jem and headed deeper into the forest. The two friends headed after him.

Teddy Tedaloo led the little teddy and Zombie Jem further and further into the woods. “Where exactly are we going?” Jem asked their guide. The bear looked back at the two travelers and smiled. “To witness the dance of the fairy teddies,” he said quickly before turning back. The little teddy’s eyes lit up. “Faiwy teddys?” she exclaimed, “I wanna see faiwy teddys!!” Teddy Tedaloo laughed. “Then follow me,” he instructed her. The little teddy bounced excitedly. “Ok!” she agreed. Zombie Jem laughed. The two continued to follow their guide.

After walking for what seemed like hours to the little teddy, they reached a cave. “Well,” Teddy Tedaloo said to her, “this is your destination. Head on in and I’ll wait here for you and your friend to get out.” The little teddy looked into the cave. She could see a very faint light at the far back of it, but nothing more. But she was too excited to be scared. “Ooh, let’s go,” she told her zombie friend, “I wanna see the faiwies!” Zombie Jem grabbed her paw. “Ok,” he told his friend, “but hold my hand until we get to the back of the cave. It’s dark and I don’t want you to trip and get hurt.” The two headed into the dark cave.

The cave was even more vast than it seemed. It felt to the little teddy that it took forever to reach the back, where the light was coming from. And when they did finally reach it, the two couldn’t believe their eyes. Flying around a large opening at the back of the cave were fairies. But not just ordinary fairies. Fairy teddies, just as Teddy Tedaloo had said.

“Oh my gosh,” Zombie Jem gasped, “I can’t believe it.” The little teddy couldn’t take her eyes away from the fairies. “Faiwies,” she said excitedly, “weal faiwy teddys!” Zombie Jem was happy to see the little teddy so excited. “Why don’t you see if you can approach them,” he suggested. The little teddy nodded and walked slowly towards the fairies, expecting they to fly away in fear. But, much to her surprise, they flew towards her. The fairies surrounded her and led her to the middle of the opening and began flying around her. Their wings started to glow as they continued to circle the little teddy.

Suddenly the little teddy started to feel a little warm. “Whoa, PammyBear,” Zombie Jem said with a hint of nervousness, “you’re glowing!” The little teddy looked at her paws and saw that she was indeed glowing. “Ooh! What’s going on?” she asked aloud. Then she began to feel lighter. “You’ve grown wings, PammyBear!” Jem excitedly told her. The little teddy reached behind her and felt the wings that had suddenly sprouted from her back. “Oh!” she exclaimed, “I’m a faiwy teddy!” She turned to Zombie Jem, beaming. “I’m a faiwy teddy,” she said excitedly, “I’m a faiwy teddy!”

The little teddy took a couple of minutes to get used to her new wings, and then flew over to Zombie Jem. “Your wings are very pretty,” her undead friend told her, smiling. “I know,” the little teddy replied, “I weawwy yike them!” She took her friend’s hand and started to fly. She wasn’t sure if she would be able to fly with Jem, but to her excitement, she could. “Wow, PammyBear, we’re flying!” Jem exclaimed. He could hardly believe how strong the fairies’ magic was. But here he was, flying with his best friend. He was having a lot of fun and he could tell that she was having even more fun than him.

The little teddy flew around with Zombie Jem for a while more before the other fairy teddies began flying around them. “What are they doing?” Jem asked. The little teddy listened for a moment, seemingly hearing something that he couldn’t. “They’re saying that I have to set you down so we can dance,” she explained. She wasn’t entirely sure how she knew what they were saying, but she did. And, as the fairies had said, she carefully landed and set down Jem and joined them back in the center of the opening.

The fairy teddies began flying around the little teddy again. Their wings began to glow and continuously change colours as they began to fly all around, filling the whole area with a rainbow of light. The little teddy began to fly spin around, her own wings glowing. Almost as if by instinct, she began to dance with the rest of the fairy teddies. Zombie Jem sat back, watching in awe. He had never seen something so amazing in his life, or his afterlife. He loved seeing his PammyBear having such a fun time.

Zombie Jem could have watched the fairy teddies dance forever. But, after a while, the dance came to an end. The little teddy landed as the rest of the fairies began circling her again. Their wings began to glow again, and in couple of moments, the little teddies wings disappeared. She thanked the fairy teddies and then ran to her friend. “I got to be a faiwy!,” she said excitedly, hugging Jem. Zombie Jem smiled. “I saw,” he told her happily, “You looked amazing dancing with the other fairies. But I think we ought to head back.” The little teddy nodded. “Yeah,” she agreed, “I think you’re wight. Let’s so see if that cwazy bear is still out there.”

Zombie Jem took the little teddys paw and they walked through dark cave again to get back to the forest. Teddy Tedaloo was waiting at the cave’s entrance for them. He smiled as they approached them. “Did you see the teddy fairies?” he asked the little teddy. She and Zombie Jem relayed the story of what had happened deep in the cave. Teddy Tedaloo nodded. “Yeah,” he said knowingly, “That’s what I thought.” Zombie Jem looked at him curiously. “What do you mean, Teddy Tedaloo?” he asked the bear. “Oh, nothing,” Teddy Tedaloo answered, “Now let’s get you two back home.”

The two travelers followed their guide back through the forest. They didn’t talk much as did; instead they just enjoyed the sounds of the forest. When they reached the forest’s exit where they had first met Teddy Tedaloo, they stopped to say goodbye. “I’m certain we’ll see each other again,” Teddy Tedaloo told the little teddy, “And probably you as well, my undead friend.” He gave the two travelers a hug. “Thank you vewy much for leading us to the faiwy teddies,” the little teddy said as she hugged him. Zombie Jem gave him a hug too and then he and the little teddy walked out of the forest.

The little teddy opened her eyes. She sat up in her bed, a big smile on her face. “What a vewy nice dweam,” she said to herself, “I should meet up wif Zombie Jem and tell him about it.” She got out of bed and went to the living room. Her mommy and daddy were watching t.v. with her siblings. “Oh! Good morning, mommy! Good morning, daddy!” she said cheerily, “May I go to Zombie Jems for a little while?” Her mommy smiled. “Of course you can,” she answered, “Just don’t be out too late.” The little teddy nodded. “I won’t, mommy,” she told her, “I’ll pwobabwy be back for wunch.” With that, she headed out to see her friend.

The little teddy closed the front door to her house and headed towards Zombie Jems cemetery. She noticed a stand in the street across the road that she hadn’t seen before. She went to investigate, and found that it was a news stand. She saw someone in the back of the stand looking through some boxes. “Excuse me,” the little teddy said to the stranger. The stranger stood up and walked over to the stand. He was a jolly looking bear. The little teddy thought he seemed familiar, but she couldn’t place him. “Hi there,” the bear said happily, “I’ve just set up this news stand. I eventually plan to have a full news station, but for now this will do. I have lots to set up still, but here, take a copy of my paper. Free of charge. And please, come back to see me when I’m fully set up.”

The bear handed the little teddy a newspaper. She took a look at the cover page. “The Teddy Tedaloo Times,” she read aloud, “that sounds familwar.” But she couldn’t place it any more than she could place the bear. She shrugged it off and continued on her way to Zombie Jem’s cemetery. She just couldn’t wait to tell him about her dream.

THE END

Excuse the Teddy…[Sewious Post]

The Teddy normawwy doesn’t yike to be sewious. And I know evwyone espects the Teddy to be cute and funny. But sometimes the Teddy needs to be a sewious teddy.

The Teddy watches a wot of tv wif my mommy and daddy. I also see stuff on the internets when they are onwine. And a wot of what the Teddy sees is vewy confusing. And it makes the Teddy sad.

The Teddy weawwy woves her mommy and daddy. And I wove a wot of the humens I’ve met onwine. But humens weawwy confuse the Teddy.

Humens are vewy important for Teddys. We wely on humens to take care of us. And many teddys have an inhewent need to take care of humens. And many humens need us to take care of them.

But humens dont seem capable of cawing for each other yike they should. The stuff that I see on the shows my mommy and daddy watch, as well as what the Teddy sees happening where they wive and where my fwiends wive makes me vewy sad.

Humens tend to be vewy mean to each other. They sometimes act horribwy towards each other because of what they call wace. The Teddy doesn’t know what that is, but I don’t understand why they would be mean to each other because of it. My daddy tells me it jus means people wook diffwent. But it doesnt make sense to the Teddy. Many teddys wook diffwent, but we don’t tweat each other badwy because of it.

And in some pwaces the humens of a diffwent wace that get tweated badwy dont wook any diffwent than most other humens in that pwace.  Fwom what the Teddy understands, some people dont consider some waces as being weal because they are also weligions. But that doesn’t matter. Humens should understand that all peeple are jus peeple.

The Teddy can’t understand how humens can be so mean to each other. I jus don’t understand it at all. It makes the Teddy sad to see what humens put each other thwough. Especially if thare my fwiends and family.

No humen is better than another humen. Teddys (at weast the teddys Ive met) all understand that we’re all jus teddys and we twy our best to be nice to each other. I think that humens could weawwy wearn a wot fwom teddys when it comes to tweating each other better.

The Teddy weawwy hopes that humens can wearn to tweat each other better. I wish we could wive in a world where evwyone tweated each other better.

Well, tha’s all the Teddy has to say. Sowwy for being so sewious. I know it’s mostwy wambling, but it weawwy makes the Teddy sad. Pwease consider tweating your fewwow humens better.

The Teddy pwomises to be super cute and siwwy in the next post.

The Mysterious Restaurant

Oh, hello everyone. Welcome to another story time. I have a very special story. What makes it so special, you may be asking yourself. Well, tonight’s story is brought to you in part by some very nice friends of my sister, Teddy. Their names are Chalky, Cuddles, and Toddy Furrington. They have provided the setting for tonight’s story. Please focus your attention to the pictures below.

Teddy 45

Here we have a very pleasant restaurant. Nothing remotely out of place, right? We shall see.

Teddy 44

The lovely dining area within the restaurant. Lovely, yes? Out of place? I would seem not.

Teddy 43

The bar. Many gather for drinks here every night. It seems completely normal, right?

Teddy 46

The game room. Where many might come for a nice game of pool or cards. Nothing strange here.

Now that we’ve seen this gorgeous restaurant and all she has to offer, let’s get on with tonight’s story. The title of our story tonight is The Mysterious Restaurant. I do so hope you enjoy it.

The Mysterious Restaurant

The  little teddy was hanging out with Zombie Jem in his cemetery. With them also were her little brothers, Fox and Owl, and her sister, Beary. They were in the middle of discussing their next big adventure. So far they had come up with nothing. But that’s when Owl had an idea. “Oh, have you all heard the story of the mysterious restaurant?” he asked everyone. Intrigued, Zombie Jem replied, “No, I can’t say that I have. What about you, PammyBear?” Jem had taken to calling the little teddy PammyBear because she reminded him of a family member from back when he was still alive. “I don’t think I’ve heard that stowy, either,” she answered, “Pwease, tell us the stowy, Owl!”

“The story is that there’s a restaurant that just appears from nowhere,” he began, “Like, you can actually go into this place and eat food and everything.” The little teddy jumped up, excited. “OOH!” she exclaimed, “I wanna go!” Zombie Jem got up and clapped his hands. “Oh yes,” he agreed, “I think this could be quite fun! Do you know where this restaurant shows up, Owl?” Owl shook his head. “Unfortunately, I don’t,” he told them. The little teddy and Jem both dropped their heads, disappointed. “That’s ok,” Fox chimed in, “Beary and I know where it is. We’ve never gone there at night, but we have been there during the day.” the little teddy began jumping up and down excitedly. “Calm down, PammyBear,” Jem told the little teddy, “Why don’t you all head home, get some supplies, and meet me back here when it starts to get dark?”

A couple of hours passed as the little teddy and her siblings got supplies ready for the night’s adventure. They got flashlights, potatoes, and a few jackets in case the weather got bad. They even packed a few lemons for Zombie Jem. As they were headed out the door to meet back at Jem’s cemetery, Fox stopped everyone for a moment. “Let me run back in and get a camera,” he told them, “so that way we can prove it really happened.” He ran in and grabbed his camera and when he came back out, the group set out to meet up with Zombie Jem.

When they got back to the cemetery, Zombie Jem was waiting for them at the gate. “So, are well ready?” he asked his friends. “You bet we are!” the little teddy replied, excited, “Let’s go! Let’s go! Let’s go!” Beary pulled out a map from her backpack that she and Fox had drawn up before they left home. “The pwace isn’t too far,” she explained, “It should onwy take us about twenny minutes to get there.” She took out some flashlights from her backpack and passed them out to her siblings and Jem. They began walking towards the spot where the mysterious restaurant was said to appear.

The walk to the spot was quite pleasant. The friends laughed and joked the whole way. But as they neared the spot where the restaurant was supposed to appear, they saw nothing. No building at all. It was just a group of trees. “I don’t understand,” Jem said to Owl, “I thought it was supposed to appear at night.” Owl shrugged. “I don’t know,” he answered his undead friend, “Are you sure this is the right spot, Fox?” Fox nodded, “Yes, Beary and I went over the map a few times before we left,” he replied. The adventurers waited at the spot for a while longer before deciding to give up. “Well, this wasn’t quite what I was hoping for,” the little teddy sighed, “I guess we should jus go home.” Jem hugged his friend. “It’s ok, PammyBear,” he told her, “We’ll find somethingelse to do.”

The adventurers began walking back when suddenly they felt a strong, cold wind hit their backs. They turned around to see a huge building where the group of trees had just been. It was a lovely building with large sign on the front which read “The Furry Tails Restaurant & Bar”. The little teddy let out a squeal of excitement. “OH OH OH!” she said excitedly, “It’s reawwy here!!” She went to walk towards the building when Beary grabbed her paw. “Hey,” she told her sister, “maybe we should take our time here. We don’t know if it’s safe.” PammyBear shook her head. “But we’re adventuwers,” she replied, “We can’t always worry about if its safe or not.” Beary nodded. “Yeah, you’re wight,” she agreed, “Let’s do this!”

The little teddy opened the door to the restaurant and was not disappointed. The inside of the restaurant was just as beautiful as the outside. But before she and her companions could begin exploring, they heard a friendly voice coming towards them. “Good evening and welcome to The Furry Tails Restaurant and Bar,” a friendly looking bear said the group, “My name is Chalky and I’ll be your server for the night. Follow me and take you to your seats.”

The adventurers followed Chalky to a very lovely table where he sat them all down and began to take their orders. “What can I get you lovely adventurers to drink,” Chalky asked, smiling, “We quite literally have anything you could want.” Before anyone else could speak, Owl asked, “Excuse me? But how did you know we’re adventurers?” Chalky smiled. “Why everyone who comes here is an adventurer of some sort, Honey,” he answered pleasantly, “Now, you seem like a group who would love some hot, fresh tea. How does that sound?” Everyone agreed that tea sounded great. “Alright, give me just a moment and I’ll have that right out,” Chalky assured them.

It seemed that as soon as Chalky had left, he was back. “That was weawwy fast,” the little teddy said happily as Chalky began pouring tea for everyone. “Well, we do pride ourselves in our customer service,” he replied, setting down the tea pot and pulling out a small notepad, “Now what can I get you all to eat. Again, we do have quite literally anything you may possibly want. We even have an abundance of potatoes for you, should you so please.” The little teddy’s eyes lit up when she heard potatoes. “Ooh!” she exclaimed, “Could I have wots and wots of potatoes, pwease?” Chalky laughed. “Why of course,” he answered, smiling, “And for everyone else?”

As everyone else gave their orders, the little teddy began to look around. The whole restaurant had a very familiar feel to it. Almost as if she’d been there before. She looked over towards the bar. The bartender was a very nice looking gentlemanly bear. Chalky must have noticed her looking, as he said to the little teddy, “That’s Toddy. He’s a fine bartender and such a gentleman. I believe you will all make his acquaintance later on tonight.” When he had finished speaking, Toddy smiled and gave a small wave to them. The adventurers all smiled and waved back. They were all loving this mysterious restaurant.

It took a little longer than when she got drinks, but Chalky returned with their food much quicker than they expected. They had gotten a variety of foods from all over the world. And yet, in seemingly no time at all, here was their server, with all of their food. “Now that’s what I call fast,” Zombie Jem said, surprised. Smiling, Chalky replied, “Of course. As I said, we pride ourselves in our customer service.” Beaming and slightly drooling, Fox said, “I can see why. You’re vewy good and vewy fast!” Chalky gave a small nod. “Which is exactly what such fine guests as yourself,” he said before walking off.

It took the adventurers some time to finish all of their food. But they left not a single crumb. “That was some might fine food,” Jem was saying as Chalky came back to collect everyone’s dishes. “I hope everybody had a pleasant meal,” he said as he began picking up the dishes. “Oh we did!” the little teddy said happily, “Those were some weawwy good potatoes!” Beary nodded. “And my paella was super nummy,” she added, “and Owl’s piewogis!” Owl nodded in agreement. Chalky smiled proudly. “And how about your fish and chips, Fox? And your lasagna, Jem?” Both Fox and Jem smiled widely. “It was quite delicious,” Jem told their server. “So was mine,” Fox agreed. “I’m quite glad,” Chalky said as he took their dishes back to the kitchen. He came back shortly after and struck up conversation with his guests.

The adventurers talked for a while with Chalky before he went back to the kitchen. They were all quite full after their meal. “Maybe we should check out the rest of the place,” Zombie Jem suggested, “A building this big must have more than just a restaurant and a bar.” But before they could get up from the table, a voice from behind them asked, “Dessert?” Everyone turned their heads to see another bear headed their way. She was carrying a tray with a rather large chocolate cake and some ice cream. Suddenly everyone was hungry again. “Yes, please,” they said in unison. After setting the tray on the table, the bear said, “I thought you might say that. My name is Cuddles and I handle dessert here at the restaurant.” She smiled and then proceeded to serve up cake to the adventurers. “Would you mind terribly if stayed to share some dessert too,” she asked, “I would love to get to know you all.” Everyone agreed that they would enjoy that.

After dessert, Cuddles came back to clean up the plates. “That was so so yummy,” the little Teddy told her. Cuddles smiled. “I’m glad you liked it,” she told the group happily, “Now, how would you lot like to check out our game room?” The little teddy jumped up from her seat. “Oh yes pwease!” she exclaimed. “I agree,” Zombie Jem added, “I think it would be quite fun to check out the game room.” Cuddles gathered up the dishes from dessert. “Very well,” she said, “allow me to take care of these and I shall return to take you to the game room.”

Soon they were following Cuddles upstairs to where the game room was. When they saw it, they were not surprised that it was just as splendid as the rest of the restaurant and bar. There were two lovely pool tables and a few tables for playing cards. A large fireplace added an air of comfort to the room. “Well, I shall leave you to it,” Cuddles said, turning to leave, “Please feel free to call me should you need anything.” With that, Cuddles left the adventurers alone in the game room. Or so they thought.

Zombie Jem walked over to the wall where the pool cues were and grabbed two. “Here, PammyBear,” he said excitedly, “let’s play!” It was at the point that Fox noticed somebody sitting in the corner of the room. “Look over there,” he said, pointing to the corner. As everybody turned to look over where Owl had pointed, someone sat up and walked towards them. It was a little cow. He was very small and seemed to have no eyes. “Oh h-h-hewwo,” the little cow stuttered, “M-my name is Oo-oo…my name is Oom.” The little teddy went over and gave him a hug. “Oh hi!” she told him, “what are you doing here?” Oom went over to the wall and got a pool cue. “I wike to pw-pw-pway pool,” he told them. “Oh, ho!” A voice behind the group made them jump. They turned around to see Toddy, the bartender walking into the game room.

“Little Oom here is much more than he appears,” Toddy was explaining, “Despite his very small stature, he is probably the best pool player that we’ve seen here at Furry Tails.” Oom walked over to one of the pool tables. “W-w-would someone w-wike to join m-m-m…join me?” he asked. Zombie Jem walked up to the pool table. “Sure,” he told Oom, “Let’s play.” Toddy clapped his paws together. “Very well,” he said happily, “it loos like we have a match!”

Zombie Jem racked up the balls and the game was on. Jem lined up and took his first shot. It was a good one, with one of the striped balls pocketed. “Yes!” Jem exclaimed, “Off to a great start!” But then, to his disappointment, he scratched on his next shot. “Well, that isn’t what I expected,” he sighed. Oom then moved up to the table. “H-h-here we g-g-g-go,” he stammered. He took his first shot. And when he did, Jem knew he had no chance of winning. Oom pocketed three of his balls with his first shot. And then he continued to sink the rest of them, without missing any of them. Within a matter of minutes, Oom had won.

Toddy went over to Jem and patted him on the back. “Oh, now that was a great game,” he declared, “well played, the both of you!” Zombie Jem hung his head. The little teddy went over and gave him a hug. “Teeheehee, cwazy zombie,” she teased, “that was over vewy fast.” Oom took Jems hand and shook it. “Y-you di-d-d-did vewy w-well,” he assured him, “I’m jus b-b-better. Tee. Hee.” Toddy let a chuckle. “Well, I think the poor chap’s had enough games for now,” he stated, “Why don’t you all follow me back to the bar for a Furry Tails nightcap before we close up for the evening?” The little teddy shrugged. “Ok, that sounds good!” she answered, “But do you have to cwose soon?” Toddy nodded. “Oh, yes, I’m afraid we do,” he told her, “It is getting very late.” He looked over to Oom. “Are you coming, Oom,” he asked. Oom shook his head. “N-n-no thank you,” he answered, “I th-think I’m going to pw-pw-pwactice a little.” Toddy nodded. “Very well,” he said with a smile, “We shall see you later.”

In a few minutes, the adventurers were all seated at the bar. “Now,” Toddy started, “what would everyone like? Anything you want, we have.” The little teddy took a minute to think. “Ohh, could I get a hot chocowate, pwease?” she asked, “Wif mini marshmewwows?” Fox nodded excitedly. “Ooh, me too, pwease!” he said happily. Toddy smiled cheerily. “Of course,” he said, “and for the rest of you?” After a moment, Zombie Jem asked, “Could I get some tea? Earl Grey, if you have it?” Toddy nodded. “We certainly do have that,” he replied. “May I have some apple juice, pwease?” Beary asked. “And, I’d like a strawberry milk, please.” Owl added. Toddy nodded again and turned around to start getting everyone’s drinks.

He turned back soon with their drinks all ready. “Dang,” Jem said, “Everyone’s fast here!” Toddy chuckled. “We do our best,” he stated, “Now, drink up!” Everyone tried their drinks. “Oh, this is so so nummy,” teddy said happily. Everyone agreed. “Yes, this is some of the best tea I’ve ever had,” Zombie Jem told him. “Well, I try to make sure everyone who drinks here at my bar has a very pleasant experience,” Toddy replied. “Well, you’ve certainly seen to that here,” Owl answered. To which Toddy said, “Why thank you! We’re all so happy you’ve had a great night with us here.” As everyone had their drinks, they talked at length about many things with Toddy. He was a very interesting bear with many fun tales to tell.

When everyone finished their drinks, Toddy led them all back to the entrance. Waiting for them there were Chalky and Cuddles. Chalky smiled and gave each of the adventurers a hug. “Thank you so much for coming,” he said to the little teddy as he hugged her. “Yes,” Cuddles added, “we’ve loved having you all.” From behind them, they heard the familiar voice of Oom. “I know w-we onwy pwayed one g-g-game of p-p-p…of pool,” he stuttered, “but it was a w-wot of f-f-fun.” He gave everyone a hug, and stood with Chalky and Cuddles. Toddy then proceeded to give each adventurer a big hug himself. “I had a jolly good time chatting with you all at the bar,” he told them, “You’ve all been very pleasant guests. And we truly are grateful to have had you here tonight. Thank you all very much.” The little teddy smiled. “No no!” she said, “Thank you all so so much for being so nice to us! We had a weawwy gweat time!”

The group left The Furry Tails Restaurant and Bar and started to head home. The little teddy turned back to wave goodbye, but the building had vanished. It it’s place was the same group of trees that had been there when the had first arrived. She pointed this out to her companions. “Well I’ll be,” Owl said, “That place really is a mystery.” Fox and Beary nodded. “But it’s a nice mystery,” Jem replied. The little teddy nodded. “I agwee,” she said, “We should go there again.” Everyone nodded in agreement. They then continued their walk home, all the while talking about their experience at The Furry Tails Restaurant and Bar. None of them realized that they not taken a single picture to prove their tale.

Meet the Author

Hello, everyone. My name is Teddy. You may know me as the author of A Little Teddy Has an Adventure and Some Teddies Meet a Zombie. I am a relatively new author, but I hope to continue my career and make many more stories for you all to enjoy.

There isn’t too much to say about me. I’m a simple bear who loves to read and write. I like most genres of books. As far as writing, I aim to write mostly stories for younger teddies and humens. Maybe someday I’ll make my way into more mature stories. But for now, I like what I write, and I certainly hope you do too.

When I’m not reading and writing, I enjoy watching crime shows with my mommy and daddy. I also enjoy anything involving trivia. I enjoy learning new things, and think it’s a good idea for everyone to learn as much as they can.

Well, I know I’m not overly interesting, but I hope you enjoyed getting to know me a little. I hope you will all enjoy my next story, which I will post sometime either today or tomorrow. Good day to everyone!
